GastroMarket is a boutique wine / beer garden and eatery founded in the heart
of NYC and conveniently located directly adjacent to The High Line. We
consider ourselves pioneers and are proud to be of the first upscale chelsea restaurant
to locate in the new hudson yards neighborhood. Our bar restaurant is
a true depiction of a labor of love. From the inside
all the way to the outside garden, our establishment has a warm Tuscan
/ French country side look and feel that makes you quickly forget that
you are still in the midst of the busiest city in the world. GastroMarket
uniquely features not only a world-class selection of cask ale but it
also has a one of kind selection of local cask wines. Drinking cask beer
and cask wine intrigues not only the sophisticated palate but the everyday
person will also appreciate the flavorful experience of drinking a fermented
beverage that has not been filtered, pasturized and pressurized with gas.
Not to mention, this is how our ancestors drank their beer and wine for
milleniums. The climax in the experience we bring is enjoying the fermented
beverage in the company of our eclectic food menu which ranges from untraditional
dishes like beer-can-chicken with corn queso fresco to artisanal boards
garnished with thinly sliced jamon iberico and aged truffle infused pecorino.
